Kenberma Playground Update
The Department of Public Works continues its efforts to finish the playground area, today we added an access ramp at the entrance of the walkway for easier and appropriate access to the playground.
Please stay off the new asphalt until at least this afternoon so that it may cure properly.
Also, there has been some vandalism to the area recently, sprinkler heads have been kicked off, the seat on the brand new picnic table was broken, some hydroseed was damaged... If you see anyone doing any damage to the park, the equipment or the playground, please notify the Hull Police so that we can stop these actions and continue to provide a fun, safe and enjoyable place for the kids to gather...
Thank you...

Household Hazardous Waste Days Are Coming!
Household Hazardous Waste Days Are Coming!
The Hull Department of Public Works is pleased to announce that the Town of Hull is the newest member of the South Shore Recycling Cooperative.
The SSRC is a regional entity consisting of 15 local communities that focuses on advocating for funding, sensible laws and regulations that accomplish the goal of minimizing waste and cost, and maximizing recovery at the municipal level.
As a member community of the SSRC, residents of the Town of Hull will be eligible to attend Household Hazardous Waste Days in neighboring communities. We are hoping to hold our own HHWD in the near future.
Watch for updates from the Town and check out the SSRC website for more information about the Cooperative:

Street Sweeper Schedule
The Town of Hull Department of Public Works is pleased to
announce that it has begun its annual street sweeping program. Because of the
larger than normal volume of sand on the roads, the sweeper has been
concentrating on main roads and environmentally sensitive areas as well as
areas impacted by recent storm related high tide events.
Once these areas have been completed, the sweeper will be
focusing on neighborhood areas and secondary roads. This year, sweeping will
begin at West Corner and work toward the Pemberton / Hull Gut area of Town.
We will sweep all streets, please be patient if the schedule is modified.

Please Help Protect Our Playgrounds
The Town of Hull and the Public Works Department have spent a great deal of money, time and effort to upgrade the Kenberma Playground over the past several months.
We installed two new benches so parents can watch over their children playing and a new picnic table so families can enjoy eating or just hanging out at. The park area will be loamed and seeded soon and yesterday, we had the new walkway poured.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE RESPECTS THE PLAYGROUND.
Last night, there were kids throwing boulders and rocks onto the newly poured cement walkway, the new picnic table seat was broken by kids jumping on it and several sprinkler heads were destroyed.
If you see anyone doing damage, please report the activity to the Hull Police so the local kids will continue to have a nice place to play and have fun at.
