TICK SPRAYING TODAY - PARKS TEMPORARILY CLOSED!

The second of three monthly treatments for ticks at the area playgrounds in an attempt to minimize any tick-borne illnesses that may occur is being done this morning. 
 
This treatment will also address mosquitoes in these areas.
Please be advised that the following locations will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC until after 2pm today:
                                   the Dust Bowl
                                   the Village Playground
                                   Hampton Circle Park and
                                   Menice Field
The application being put down is EPA approved and is harmless to children and animals after it dries. They drying time is approximately 90-minutes, these areas will remain closed for a few hours after spraying to be safe.
Please stay out of these areas until after 2pm…

The Fall Household Hazardous Waste Day is Scheduled


Mark your calendar, the Hull DPW is sponsoring a Fall Household Hazardous Waste Day on  Saturday September 22nd from 9AM until 1PM at the DCR parking lot along the George Washington Boulevard by the roller rink.

If you live in town and are planning on attending this event, all you will need to bring with you is your drivers license showing that you are a Hull resident, you will not need to go to the DPW office beforehand. Only out-of-town residents will need an authorization form.
