The Town of Hull
Department of Public Works is working very hard to recover from the recent
string of severe storms. We are out there every day doing our best with our
resources to ensure that everyone stays safe and is able to continue to enjoy
everything that this town has to offer.
We are tentatively
scheduled to begin scraping the roads the week of April 2nd to
remove as much sand and debris that has washed ashore during these storm
events. We are hoping that this process can be completed in under two weeks.
Once the scraping
process is completed, we will begin to sweep
the streets to further remove any build-up left.
If you have sand or
rocks that were deposited on your property from the storms, please push as much
of it to the edge of the roadway as possible so it can be collected during this
process. Again, ONLY rocks and sand can be left along the side of the road,
other debris such as wood and other objects cannot be collected. If debris
other than dirt and rocks is left on the edge of the roadway, your property
will be bypassed and the task of removing it will become your responsibility.
Your help with this
task of restoring our beautiful town is greatly appreciated.
