Main Street Construction Next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Please be advised that Riley Brothers Inc. will be doing construction on Main Street between the Hull Public Library and the Coast Guard station beginning next Tuesday and finishing either Wednesday or Thursday depending on the weather. The project will restore the entire eastbound lane that has the asphalt trench in it.

Motorists that are heading into town towards the high school and commuter boat areas will not be affected by this construction as the westbound lane will remain open during construction.

Detours will be set up for motorists leaving the Gut and Pemberton area. Traffic will be diverted onto Ocean Ave just past the Dust Bowl, turn right onto Spring Street and left at the stop sign up Nantasket Ave, over the hill and continue past the sewer plant.

There will be police details on-site and signage will be in place to help the traffic flow.

This is not a town project, this is a restoration project necessitated by the replacement of National Grids gas line last Fall.
