Just to let everyone know, the Department of Public Works will be conducting a controlled burning of the collected Christmas trees in the yard at the DPW today.
This notice is to inform residents so they don't begin to worry if they smell smoke or see an open fire around the West Corner area.
The wind is currently blowing off the river towards Nantasket Ave. Residents in the Atlantic Hill and condo development area may smell smoke during this process.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, the Hull Fire Department is aware of this burning today.
