Construction Update - Holbrook Ave Revetment Project
For those that are not aware of this project, they are building a small revetment to reinforce and stabilize the area on the bluff below multiple homes on Holbrook Ave at the homeowners expense.
The project has received all of the necessary
permits and the Town has granted a construction license to the homeowners to
use the X Street opening and to traverse the beach to get to the bluff in the
cove.
They are using stones that weigh between 8,000 pounds and 14,000 pounds to build the revetment.
The contractor is making some operational adjustments to minimize the
impacts on the Beach Ave homeowners.
The project is scheduled to be completed by
6/30. There is no work permitted on
weekends.
