Tick Spraying to Begin Shortly

The DPW has signed a contract with F&W Pest Control to spray various areas of town for ticks. A technician from this company came to Hull recently and visited multiple locations and determined the most appropriate spots to be sprayed to protect people from tick bites.

A schedule is being determined right now and will include spraying once each month for the next four months and spraying will be conducted during the morning hours.

When these areas are sprayed, they will be off-limits to people for approximately 4-hours until they are safe to access, signs will be posted at each location to warn people.

The areas to be sprayed are:
                         the Dust Bowl
                         the Village playground
                         Hampton Circle Park
                         Menice playground
